2020 DFA National Championships
The 2020 DFA National Championships will be held at the Arnold Sports Festival on Saturday, March 21. This open event is accessible to players and teams all across Australia.
This year, we will have a Cloth and Foam Division (both Mixed Divisions), taking place on the same day, one after the other. Players and teams can register for both divisions.
VENUE:
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre – 1 Convention Centre Pl, South Wharf VIC 3006
The event will be held at the Arnold Sports Festival. Players and staff will receive a pass prior to entry into the venue (free entry into the Arnold Sports Festival).
Last year, everyone involved in the event met and took a group photo with Arnold Schwarzenegger. We are told by the event organisers, we will have another opportunity to meet Arnold at this year’s event over the course of the weekend.
DATE:
Saturday, March 21
Cloth Division: 10:30am – 2:00pm
Foam Division: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
BALL TYPE:
Cloth Division (5-Ball Rules) – Mixed Division
Foam Division (6-Ball Rules) – Mixed Division
GENDER:
Mixed Competition – maximum of 4 male players on court, at any given time (maximum of 6 players on court). Subs are also permitted, with any gender mix.
REGISTRATION CUT-OFF:
Team Registrations close Monday, March 16
REGISTRATION FEE:
$150 Per Team, Per Division
$250 Per Team | If the same team enters both Cloth and Foam Divisions (minimum of the same 6 registered players participating in both teams)
