State Dodgeball

The inaugural State of Origin Series took place in December, 2017 in Melbourne during the National Championships weekend with a great deal of success. The second event was held in December, 2018 in Sydney. Victoria and NSW were involved at both events.

The growth of State Dodgeball aims to build a healthy, strong rivalry between states, and further aid the development of high performance dodgeball and ADPL in those respective states, helping foster a player pathway to the Australian Dodgeroos squads.

Our objective is to have an expanded State of Origin event with a  round-robin + Finals, on a yearly basis over a single weekend. The host city will be rotated each year.

2021: 2 – 3 States

2022: 3 – 4 states

2023: 4 – 5 states

2024: 5 – 6 States
