University Dodgeball

Since 2016, Dodgeball Australia (DA) has helped facilitate and grow University Dodgeball, in partnership with UniSport Australia – the peak governing body of University sport in Australia.

Dodgeball Australia has held yearly events recognised by Sport Australia, including an agreement in 2019 to stage an event at the yearly Arnold Sports Festival (ASF), held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

In September, 2019, DA also launched the inaugural University Dodgeball League in Melbourne playing across various Uni campuses, including Victoria University, Deakin University, Monash University and La Trobe University.

We wish to further establish dodgeball’s footprint in the University market, and continue growth in terms of participation, while producing more high performance athletes into our State and Dodgeroos teams.

University plays an important role in the awareness and development of the sport. We aspire to provide as many opportunities as possible for students to get involved. The DA offers Clubs event updates, support, and guidance on all things Dodgeball, while also establishing new relationships with Universities not actively playing dodgeball.
