Ticket Info: 2015 Asian Dodgeball Championships

The 2015 Asian Dodgeball Championships, brought to you by major partner Chemist Warehouse, features some of the elite talent across Asia, battling it out to qualify for the 2016 Dodgeball World Cup in Manchester, England. 

This year’s event, hosted by Dodgeball Federation Australia, is held in Melbourne at the Darebin Community Sports Stadium on the weekend of September 26 – 27, 2015.

Tickets will be available to purchase inside the stadium reception from 10:00am on the Saturday and Sunday.

The Men’s Category features four nations – Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. Twenty-four matches take place over the round-robin stage, with the top two nations qualifying for the Final.

The Women’s Category is a World Cup Qualifying Play-Off Series between Australia and Malaysia. The two nations will contest a nine-match series, with the winning team earning automatic qualification into next year’s World Cup.

The Mixed Category, beginning 2:30pm on the Sunday (following the completion of the Men’s and Women’s matches), features Australia, Malaysia and Singapore. Nine matches will be on show in the round-robin stage, with the Final contested between the top two nations.

The centre court grandstand seats approximately 600 – 700 spectators. Fans will be treated to 45 matches of international Dodgeball, played over the entire weekend in Asia’s premier Dodgeball event. The tournament is Asia’s version of World Cup qualification in the Men’s and Women’s categories.

The match schedules will be unveiled shortly, with the Opening Ceremony commencing at 11:30am on the Saturday morning of September 26.
